Background
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) operates the nation’s largest integrated health care system, with more than 1,700 hospitals, clinics, community living centers, and other similar facilities. The VA also provides financial assistance to Veterans, Service members, and their dependents.
The VA is in the process of modernizing its Computerized Patient Record System. This initiative will replace the existing, aging user interface, as well as provide integrated cross-facility system to help better achieve the VA’s missions. Emprata has been contracted to participate in this effort.
Result
Working with a variety of companies and stakeholders to support this initiative, Emprata will:
- Provide system development expertise to help design and build the proposed system.
- Potentially support data management and other aspects of the system.
